please log into the system, as I am guessing there is an hour or so download that will be required. if you can make it to your name without doing anything different, then I am incorrect. if you go to the part where you press PLAY, and a thing pops up about update, then please do that as I would like to feed my baby since I was not able to today, and plan on doing so when I get home, thank you.

ok, so right now I am at the screen that normally the "play" button would come up. "cannot play during maintenance" is scrolling across the top of the screen and "08/27/2007 The Version Update has come!" is scrolling across the bottom. At the very bottom it says "Confirm version number or update to latest version. Where the "play" button would be, the button says "check version". Is that what I want to do? Because there is not a button that says "update". Or, can I not do anything yet because it says "cannot play during maintenance" at the top?

okay, they appear to still be doing maintainence then... well, at smoe point later today, unless there is an update button or something that will allow you to start the update, which will most likely take about an hour or so

ok, so there WILL be an update button then. I will check back for it periodically.

well, it will most likely just show play, and when you click that like normal, the system does a version check, and that is when instead of logging you in, it should take you to "there is an update" thing. then you can update, and switch over to normal TV or whatever while it updates. i remember when you logged in and it showed the update, it stated it was gonna be done by 1530 CST... so they must be running a little over

version update is complete

so now I am going to try to not get killed in the highlands...

well, I've not died yet, but I am not out yet either. I am an idiot. I was fighting a goblin weaver & he poisoned me and we were pretty even all the way down & I think I beat him by maybe 2 hits, but I never noticed when the poison wore off so I panicked because I didn't want to die after just beating this guy, so I used my antidote...and I didn't need to because it had worn off...and now it is gone

I gotta get out of this place - I will write more when I am safely in gustaberg again.

Also, when I checked, Bastok now has major influence over the highlands and San d'Oria (or however you spell it) is minor. I take personal credit for that haha
